The Square Lemon Training Company.
That’s a quirky name, isn’t it?
We like to think that it’s as different as we are.
Square Lemon was founded by James Aldcroft, the Training Alchemist par excellence who turns the base metal of standard, some would say rather dull training courses into learning gold.
James has had a long, varied and successful career that reflects perfectly on the successful and innovative business that is Square Lemon. He freely admits that once he’s “into something” he needs to know everything about it and be the best he can be – no half measures for him.
He trained as a teacher, both here and abroad. After his travels, he taught himself to cook and…trained as a chef. As you do. James has also held key positions in some high profile Brighton based restaurants: Terre a Terre, Paston Place and The Tin Drum.
The Square Lemon Training Company was set up to inspire and motivate people who work within the care, hospitality and catering sectors and ultimately to help protect the general public, residents and service users. The company aims to allow business owners or other busy managers to focus on development, growth or important work related tasks, safe in the knowledge that necessary measures and standards have been met.
Our training style is VERY different. Our accredited courses are fully compliant, but it’s how we achieve those crucial outcomes that sets us apart. We interpret OFQUAL objectives in ways that fully engage learners.
We like to use:
- Unusual illustrative objects (you’ll have to ask us about these)
- Brightly coloured images
- Clear, easy to read documentation
- Lively discussion and occasional heated debate
And…we’ve got quite a few (OK, loads of) happy customers who love us.
