First Aid at Work,
3 day – CIEH Level 3 qualification
UK regulations stipulate that a first aider must always available to deal with any first aid related emergency at work. As an employer, the obligation to make sure this happens is down to you.
Square Lemon‘s three-day course in First Aid at work is comprehensive. Incorporating our Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 course, it covers every essential aspect of first aid. This course is really interactive, not to mention challenging and will equip your staff with a wide variety of skills.
They’ll also be learning solutions to emergency life-like situations. We think that this is the best way to engender confidence in being able to deliver basic life saving techniques.
This course is accredited by the CIEH and fulfils the new 2009 guidelines for first aid training set by the HSE. This course is robustly assessed, with both written and practical appraisals as the day progresses.
What prior training or qualifications are needed?
Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 covers all the aspects mentioned in Level 2 plus the following:
- injuries to bones, joints and muscles
- sudden poisoning
- eye injuries
- major illnesses and how to recognise them
- chest injuries
and many more
Who will benefit from this course?
This course is suitable for staff who work within a high risk environment or those wishing to possess a thorough knowledge of practical first aid. It will enable the employee to take full responsibility for first aid at work and is suitable for both the private and public sectors.
- Those identified in Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2, plus
- Demonstrate knowledge and competency in a wide range of emergency first aid situations
- Identify major injuries and illnesses and how to deal with them until the emergency services arrive
