Since September 2008, OFSTED registered child care settings are required by law to have at least one person qualified in paediatric first aid. This includes outings.
Square Lemon’s two-day Paediatric First Aid Level 2 course meets all the essential guidelines for the revised Early Years Foundation Stage set by OFTSTED. It’s challenging and will encourage attendees to see the bigger picture of child-care and why a high standard of care is appropriate at all times.
Paediatric First Aid Level 2 covers the essentials, such as how to assess and prioritise, how to manage choking, unconsciousness, head injuries, neck and spinal injuries, poisoning, electric shock, minor and major illnesses and much more besides.
We deliver it in two units: Paediatric Emergency First Aid and Managing Paediatric Illness and Injury.Who will benefit from this course?
