What prior training or qualifications are needed?
Level 3 Education and Training Award
(Previously Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector – PTLLS)
This comprehensive five-day course is a requirement for individuals who teach or who are planning to teach programmes that are publicly-funded. It offers a CIEH Level 3 accredited qualification to meet the basic standards for those who enter the lifelong learning sector to teach people over 16 years of age.
Covering any learning discipline, this course instils the knowledge and skills that are needed by teachers. It offers an understanding of how people learn and ultimately will show you how to become better at what you do.
