Food safety course, Wednesday 16 November Central Hove 9.30 – 4.30
Are you volunteering or currently not working, or are hoping to work in catering? A Food & Hygiene certificate is usually needed by most people preparing and serving food in the catering industry. This one day course will provide you with a Level 2 Certificate in Food & Hygiene.
Venue: Vallance Community Centre, 2 Conway Court, Clarendon Road, Hove BN3 3WR (Next to Honeycroft café)

Emergency First Aid for Adults course, Thursday 10 November, 10am-1.15pm Brighton Town Hall
This half day course will help you to respond to an emergency situation. You will learn how to deal with unconsciousness, bleeding, choking, shock, seizures, recognize signs of heart attack and strokes, the recovery position and basic life support for adults.

Our courses are free for people who are unemployed, on a low income or who have few qualifications. We will need to see your most recent proof of benefits. These courses are for people who have lived in the EU for at least 3 years. For those who do not meet our eligibility there is a fee to pay.
